C2 provided a suite of environmental planning, permitting and compliance services for the replacement of four overhead electric transmission line structures crossing the James River, Virginia.
C2 Environmental provided comprehensive regulatory services to Dominion Energy for the replacement of four electric transmission structures spanning the James River from Prince George County to Charles City County, Virginia. The towers stood over 400 feet high in the river, and helicopters and specialized cranes were required to dismantle them safely. In addition to being located within state and federal waters, the project was also located in a Bald Eagle Concentration Area, crossed an active federal navigation channel and was within critical habitat for the federally listed Atlantic sturgeon.
